These are the texts of the series 'The Hidden Strengths of
the Dos Batch Language' (treating the subjects of artistry in
programming, advanced MS-DOS batch writing, and computer
viruses), almost exactly as they appeared on the USENET group
comp.os.msdos.programmer, during the autumn of 1994. A few 
changes were made to them afterwards, mostly corrections of
bad spelling and style. You are free to copy and redistribute 
this document in electronic form, if you leave it unchanged.

Very recently I have been told that a new Belgian law does
not only make the use of viruses illegal but also the writing
of them.  Until I know more, I'm taking no chances.  

Publication of my batch programming tutorial, as it was based 
on the example of a batch virus, might be illegal now.  So
I have taken the text off my own sites.  As for the rest, I 
can only ask people who should mirror it to do the same.
